Maas will bring back the popular fantasy romance series with A Court of Splintered Harmony. It is officially to be released on October 27, 2026.
This announcement is mostly thrilling because it finally means the second installment of the ACOTAR world since A Court of Silver Flames. For years, fans have wondered what direction the story will go in next, which beloved characters will be given focus, and what threats are still lurking in Prythian. Though, the wait is now nearing its end.
Bloomsbury has revealed the next big publication for the series is A Court of Splintered Harmonyand that it will be the first of two ACOTAR novels coming out in the same short span of time. What is more exciting for the readers is that A Court of Splintered Harmony is not going to be the only new Sarah J. Maas book released before long.
Book number two, A Court of Forgotten Melody, has been announced for release on January 12th 2027. The publisher Bloomsbury is marketing the new saga as The Valkyrie Cycle, marking the start of a new important series within one of the most successful romantasy universes of the 21 st century.
